Keynote Systems (Nasdaq:KEYN), The Internet Performance Authority(R), will host a one-day Keynote Competency Training(TM) (KCT) course, in conjunction with the company's highly successful KeyEducation(TM) seminar series, on high performance Web design and management. The one-day KCT course is designed to enhance the skills of users both familiar and unfamiliar with Keynote, and provide the opportunity to gain maximum value out of Keynote's products and services. The KCT course specifically focuses on the effective use of MyKeynote(TM), the client interface for examining the performance data gathered by Keynote's robust, worldwide infrastructure of measurement computers. KCT instructors guide users through a series of hands-on exercises using live data from anonymous customers, to demonstrate the diagnostic capabilities of MyKeynote. KCT courses will be held in the San Francisco area on May 14 and in New York on May 22. The first KeyEducation seminar will take place on May 10, in Austin. Subsequent seminars will be held on May 15 in San Francisco, May 17 in Los Angeles, May 23 in New York, and on May 24 in Minneapolis. The one-day intensive KeyEducation seminars on high performance Web design and management are intended for Keynote customers and anyone responsible for building and managing the performance of Web sites and their underlying technical infrastructure. About the Instructors

Eric Siegel is a senior Internet consultant with Keynote and the author of "Designing Quality of Service Solutions for the Enterprise" (John Wiley & Sons). Eric teaches workshops at NetWorld Interop on the topics of Quality of Service and Web performance. Prior to Keynote, he was a senior network analyst at NetReference, Inc., where he specialized in network architectural design and strategic planning, and a senior network architect at Tandem Computers, where he was the technical leader and coordinator for all of Tandem's data communications specialists worldwide. Eric has also worked for Network Strategies, Inc. and for the MTRE Corporation, where he specialized in computer network design and performance evaluation. He received both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at Cornell University, and has been a member of the Internet community since 1978.

Stephen Pierzchala is a senior technology trainer at Keynote Systems and is responsible for giving technical training seminars and developing comprehensive programs, course syllabi and training materials for Keynote services. In particular, Stephen is the primary contributor in developing a comprehensive training program for the Keynote Authorized Data Analyst Program (KADA). Prior to his position as senior technical trainer, Stephen held various technical support positions at Keynote, the Center for Education Information Standards and Services and Islandnet. Stephen received his B.A. degree from the University of Victoria, Victoria BC.
