NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--May 14, 2001

Rising country group and new Curb Records recording artists, The Clark Family Experience, just released their new summer single "Standin' Still."

The single was produced by Tim McGraw and Byron Gallimore, who have heralded the group of six young multi-talented musicians and vocalists as one of the most talented groups in recent times. Their talent also got them noticed by television executives who thought they were perfect for a one-hour drama reflecting wholesome, family values.

The brothers spent three weeks in Vancouver, B.C., shooting the pilot for Warner Bros. Television. The show is being pitched this week to advertisers in New York and will be considered for the network's fall lineup that will potentially place them before millions of viewers on a weekly basis.

The concept for the television series has the Clark Family on its tour bus traveling from town to town, seeing what they run into and what life is like going home to a bus every night. The group of brothers exude a positive spirit along with charisma and charm as they face the day-to-day dramas of life on the road. Alan Clark, the oldest brother, views the experience as a positive one and hopes the series opens a lot of doors for them.

"We had a great time shooting the pilot. It was an exciting experience for us, and we would like to see the series get picked up. However, right now we are looking forward to our summer tour and can't wait to really get out on the road and perform the music for our fans," he said.

The group will be performing at fairs and festivals in major U.S. markets throughout the summer.
