Activision Showcases Compelling Lineup of 25 Titles at E3; Slate Features Games for Action, Adventure, Fighting, Racing, Strategy and Space Combat Genres

Some of the biggest brands in entertainment are set to make their debut at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo, when Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq:ATVI) showcases a compelling lineup of titles based on such popular franchises as "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater(TM)," Marvel's "Spider-Man(R)," Marvel's "X-Men(R)," "Wolfenstein(TM)," "Star Trek(R)," "Stuart Little(TM)," "World's Scariest Police Chases(TM)" and "Bloody Roar(TM) 3."

This exciting slate of 25 titles includes games for PC CD-ROM and the next generation platforms -- PlayStation(R) 2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox(TM) video game system, NINTENDO(R) GAMECUBE(TM), the current generation of consoles -- the PlayStation(R) game console and Nintendo(R) 64, the PC and the hand-held systems -- the Nintendo Game Boy(R) Advance and Game Boy(R) Color. The games, which will be available beginning this spring, span the action, action-sports, action-adventure, combat sim, strategy, fighting and racing genres.

Action-Sports Genre:

"Tony Hawk's Pro Skater(TM) 3" is the revolutionary sequel to the best-selling sports game of 2000. Offering 10 massive levels filled with people, traffic, and other interactive elements, the environments are brought to life with richer graphics and advanced special effects. Smoother, life-like animations and significantly improved tricks capture the style of 12 of the world's best skateboarding pros. In addition, "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3" will have online capabilities so that players can skate against their friends from around the world. "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater(TM) 2x" will feature the franchise's signature gameplay, intuitive controls, all of the levels from both "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2" and the original "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater," in addition to more populated environments, brand new levels, realistic special effects and smoother lifelike animations. "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater(TM) 2" is the sequel to the blockbuster skateboarding game, "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater." Players can choose to skate as Tony Hawk, the most legendary skateboarding pro of all time, or as one of 12 top pro skaters. "Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder(TM)" lets fans build a pro career as snowboarding legend Shaun Palmer or nine of the sport's best riders. Players take their skills to the edge as they trick and race through 10 of the world's top snowboarding locales. The title is currently rated "RP" (Rating Pending) by the ESRB. "Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX(TM) 2" continues the unparalleled thrill of BMX biking, while taking full advantage of next-generation technology. Featuring Mat Hoffman, the most legendary pro BMX rider of all time, and seven other top pros, the game challenges players to perform hundreds of trick combinations and signature moves in over 10 enormous levels. For replayability, gamers can build unique pros with the Create-A-Rider feature or build their own park with the BMX Course Editor. The title is currently rated "RP" (Rating Pending) by the ESRB. "Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX(TM)" delivers the most authentic BMX biking experience to gamers. Action-Adventure Genre:

"Spider-Man(R): The Movie" truly brings the feature film experience to the interactive arena. Fans can play as Spider-Man in highly detailed, 3D environments inspired by the upcoming Columbia Pictures/Marvel Entertainment live-action feature film hitting the big screen May 3, 2002. This free roaming, action-adventure game will allow players to jump into the suit of a fledgling Marvel super hero(TM) and learn how to battle the forces of evil.
