IFS Signs Multimillion-Dollar Contract with Derco Aerospace; World Leader in Military Aircraft Logistical Support Will Implement IFS MRO and Business Software

IFS has signed a multimillion-dollar contract with Derco Aerospace Inc. of Milwaukee, to provide business software and services.
Derco is a world leader in providing military aircraft logistical support that includes supplying spare parts and performing repair and overhaul services. It will implement IFS Applications(TM) component-based software for the extended enterprise and IFS' maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) software.

"We offer around-the-clock aircraft-on-ground service to our customers anywhere in the world.

Derco will implement IFS enterprise applications, vehicle information management, service management, e-business capabilities, and enterprise asset management.
Derco provides logistical support for a wide variety of military aircraft to more than 1,200 customers in 69 countries. It maintains the largest and most diversified military aircraft spare parts inventory in the world. It forecasts, stocks, and maintains more than 180,000 genuine original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part numbers from the industry's leading manufacturers.
The company also provides MRO services for military and commercial aircraft accessories and components through its affiliate Derco Repair Services Inc., a certified FAA repair station. Derco Repair Services specializes in the repair and overhaul of aircraft hydraulic, fuel, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system components.
Derco supports the C-130, F-4, F-5, F-16, A-4 and P-3 military aircraft, and a variety of commercial aircraft from Boeing, McDonnell Douglas, Airbus, Embraer, Canadair, Fokker and others.
