WHAT: Who is America's favorite TV dad? From 1950's television
(where the typical American family man was the breadwinner) to
modern television (where dual income families are the norm),
TV dads continue to win the hearts of Americans. According to
Learning Network's leading reference site, Infoplease.com,
many Americans assimilate their real fathers with TV dads. In
honor of Father's Day, Infoplease asked its loyal visitors to
reveal which TV dad they most adore. To date, nearly 2,000 Web
visitors have voted in Infoplease's "Who's Your Favorite
TV
Dad" poll, with the following results:

-- Bill Cosby from The Cosby Show received 47% of the votes.
-- Dan Castellaneta as Homer Simpson received 27%.
-- Fred MacMurray from My Three Sons received 17%.
-- Robert Reed from The Brady Bunch received 9%.
