NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 30, 2001
GEOPAK Corporation, a Bentley Strategic Affiliate, today announced that it is preparing to ship the newest version of its industry-leading civil engineering and transportation design software product line in June. GEOPAK(R) 2001 reinforces its growing international standing with the addition of many new features for international users. The product line will be available in French, Italian and Spanish, and will support a multitude of international standards.
A highlight of the release is GEOPAK Site 2001, now an extensive solution for site and subdivision design with the addition of roadway design tools and a full water and sewer module. Project-wide conflict analysis enables drainage, water and sewer lines as well as miscellaneous utilities to be evaluated on the front end. Well integrated and designed to handle the real-world iterative project process, GEOPAK Site provides a visual, interactive environment for site design, enabling users to explore numerous design scenarios quickly.
Rounding out the GEOPAK offering in the structural area, GEOPAK 2001 brings an all-new GEOPAK Bridge product, a fully object-oriented application that offers dynamic updating and editing. The software works in concert with GEOPAK Civil Engineering Suite to integrate structures with other transportation design disciplines.
GEOPAK continues to provide the most comprehensive transportation design solution on the market by tightening the integration between design disciplines. An entire new toolset is provided to help GEOPAK users better leverage design data into construction.
The GEOPAK 2001 release adds powerful new capability to GEOPAK's unique Criteria method of customizing design functions, including the ability to invoke MicroStation(R) and GEOPAK COGO commands directly from Criteria files. Criteria is a no-templates approach to design that is a competitive advantage to users of GEOPAK Civil Engineering Suite.
GEOPAK will unveil GEOPAK 2001 at A/E/C Systems 2001, to be held June 19-21, 2001 at McCormick Place, Lakeside Center, Chicago. GEOPAK will be in Booth 2409.
