VocalData Inc., a technology leader in the rapidly emerging service delivery softswitch market, today announced at Networld Interop the completion of interoperability testing with Integral Access, the intelligent multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) access company and industry-leading integrated access solution provider. Integration with Integral Access' PurePacketNode(TM) access gateway and PurePacket OUTburst(R) IAD expands service providers' ability to service all customers over an all-IP network.

The integration and testing of Integral Access' products with VocalData's award-winning VOISS(TM) (pronounced "voice") Voice Over IP Softswitch broadens service provider options by interfacing with existing PBXs, key systems, and analog devices. This makes VoIP services appealing to business customers who need to leverage their existing equipment when switching to IP voice services, and opens a broad market segment to service providers. With the incorporation of PBX and key system support, VocalData now offers the full-range of access support with it VOISS platform, adding to VocalData's existing hosted-PBX capabilities, which have interfaced with commercially available IP phones since September 2000.
