Invensys Energy Systems, a global provider of engineered power systems and turnkey integration services, will debut new software and product enhancements designed to give network managers greater monitoring and control capabilities of their communications networks.
Intergy SiteSure(TM)
SiteSure is a suite of products designed to deliver improved network monitoring and control capabilities to the network operator. SiteSure provides centralized monitoring of a wide range of inputs from remote sites. It uses the DC power system, communications network and PowerManagerII as a core, but applications extend beyond traditional monitoring methods to now include fire, security, air conditioning engine alternators and other enterprise-wide facilities services. SiteSure is now available from Invensys Energy Systems.
Intergy CellSure(TM)
Mission critical networks depend on reliable backup power during line power outages. New CellSure, a uniquely designed battery monitoring system, allows network operators to be constantly informed of predictive battery faults thereby eliminating costly and repetitive site visits. CellSure provides a method to report battery status showing where the problems may occur and giving the most important information - reliable battery capacity measurements in real-time. CellSure is currently available at a starting price of $1,472.00. Pricing includes:
--General purpose module
--Digital input module
--Digital output module
--Current input module
--Auxiliary power module
PowerManagerII(TM) Software Enhancements
Intergy's popular monitoring and control software, part of the Network Management Systems platform (NMS), now offers SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) as a basis for communicating alarm conditions throughout a telecom network. Information transmitted via SNMP includes fault location, type of equipment, fault urgency and type.
I/O Modules from Intergy
Intergy now has available enhanced trafficking input/output modules that are an integral part of the currently offered SM30 and SM50 supervisory modules. These new modules have the capability to take up to (50) digital and current inputs (formerly only 3) from network peripherals and output them as part of the Network Management System (NES). The SM30 and SM50 with input/output modules are currently available.
