Enhanced Customer Understanding Across Multiple Channels

Unica Corporation, a provider of award-winning enterprise marketing management solutions, today announced an expanded relationship with IBM by joining the Software Investment Initiative (SII) program. Under terms of the agreement, the companies will jointly market their solutions to organizations. Together, Unica's Affinium Suite and IBM's e-business and Business Intelligence (BI) infrastructure will offer customers a scalable, flexible solution for managing and leveraging customer data across the enterprise to achieve customer-focused marketing. The integrated solution provides a proven, market-leading database solution with best-of-breed marketing automation to enable businesses to develop a predictive understanding of their customers and to leverage this knowledge through real-time and outbound marketing.

Unica and IBM have a number of joint customers, including Scotiabank, Lands' End, Credit Union of Texas, Fingerhut and RBC Royal Bank, that are already using Unica's Affinium Suite running on DB2 to automate marketing campaigns and boost their multi-channel marketing capabilities.
