What:             Latin rock star Shakira will personally introduce
                  fans to her first English-language CD entitled
                  "Laundry Service" on the release date at THE WIZ -
                  NoHo in New York City. The talented Latin beauty
                  will meet fans and sign the highly anticipated CD
                  featuring the single "Whenever, Wherever."

                  At age 24, Shakira is an established international
                  celebrity whose accolades include Latin Grammy
                  Awards for "Best Female Pop Vocal Performance" and
                  "Best Latin Pop Album" for her album "Donde Estan
                  Los Ladrones?" Although "Laundry Service" is her
                  first album recorded in English, she is no stranger
                  to the U.S. where "Donde Estan Los Ladrones?" has
                  already gone platinum.
