Partnership Streamlines Subscription and On-demand Media Offerings
TeleKnowledge, a leading provider of advanced content monetization software solutions for commercial content providers, today announced a partnership with ClearCommerce Corp., a provider of payment processing and fraud prevention software for e-commerce. The companies have integrated TeleKnowledge's Total-e Content(TM) application and the ClearCommerce Engine(R) to create an end-to-end online billing and transaction management solution that enables digital content and new media service providers to quickly launch and generate revenues from subscription and on-demand services.
TeleKnowledge's Total-e Content is a comprehensive content monetization application designed to enable content owners, aggregators and distributors to define, track and manage all of their content-based revenue streams. Total-e Content allows media and entertainment companies, content portals and other online service providers to quickly and easily monetize all forms of digital content, both directly to subscribers as well as through channel and syndication partnerships.
Recognizing the need for an integrated, end-to-end solution for its customers, TeleKnowledge chose the ClearCommerce Engine for its robust and reliable payment processing and fraud prevention capabilities. Recent upgrades to ClearCommerce's software have made it the leading fraud protection software solution.
"Digital content and new media providers face an immediate need to monetize their offerings through the introduction of subscription and per-use fees," said Oren Glanz, chief executive officer and president of TeleKnowledge. "Integrating Total-e Content's subscriber management and billing features with the ClearCommerce Engine's sophisticated payment processing and fraud prevention capabilities enable those providers to develop and deliver the billable services they need quickly and cost-effectively."
"In today's economy, it is imperative that companies focus on the fundamentals of generating revenue and turning a profit," said Robert J. Lynch, president and chief executive officer of ClearCommerce. "By combining Total-e Content and the ClearCommerce Engine, service providers can now quickly and easily offer online billing and payment processing to their customers."
