PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 13, 2001

The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania announced today that it will host a series of information receptions along the West Coast for its MBA program for working executives, which is now offered in both San Francisco and Philadelphia.

The information receptions are designed to give prospective applicants and interested companies a close-up look at the people, schedule, curriculum and logistics of the Wharton executive MBA (WEMBA) program. Staff, current and former students will be available to share their experiences and answer questions.

The Wharton program, unlike other executive MBA programs, offers qualified candidates the same curriculum, faculty and degree as Wharton's world-class MBA program. Designed for the working professional, WEMBA's two-year program provides the value of a full-time Wharton MBA education to experienced managers with high growth potential. The residential program holds classes on alternate weekends and during two week-long sessions in the summer. West Coast WEMBA classes are currently held at the Park Hyatt in downtown San Francisco, but the program will move into the fifth floor of the historic Folger Building in January, 2002, when renovations are completed. East Coast WEMBA classes are held at Wharton's main campus in Philadelphia, Pa.

Information receptions will be held:

-- Nov. 26 - San Jose, Calif., The Fairmont, 170 South Market St. 6:00-8:00
p.m.

-- Nov. 27 - Newport Beach, Calif., Four Seasons Hotel, 690 Newport Center
