PLAINFIELD, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 14, 2001

GiftCrazy.net is now offering "instant cheer."

Launching this month, the website will sell its exclusive "Christmas in a Box" along with several other gift-giving ideas this holiday season.

The "Christmas in a Box" comes gift wrapped with a 14-inch-tall Christmas Tree, Santa-shaped candle, a Holiday-themed "Nite Lite," two seven-inch candy canes, 15 mini bows, a 19-inch-long Christmas Stocking and a personalized greeting card, all wrapped up for the holidays. The gift box costs $21.99.

The gift is designed for anyone who loves to decorate their home, but would be especially appropriate for someone who can't get out of the house to buy decorations themselves, said owner Robert Gehl. "Instant cheer," he calls it. "You can have the box sent directly to the person you care about," he said. "With the festive wrapping and greeting card, they'll know immediately it's Christmas inside."

It's also the perfect gift, he notes, for patients in hospitals, nursing homes or care facilities.

And in addition to "instant cheer" for the recipient, a deserving organization will benefit as well.

For every purchase, GiftCrazy.net will donate $1 to the Navajo Evangelical Lutheran Mission in Rock Point, AZ. The mission provides much-needed food, school-aged nursing, dental services, medical and other supplies to Navajo Nation residents. The mission also maintains a school and church.

"My Grandmother was on the board of directors (of the mission) for many years and it has a special place in her heart," Gehl said. "This is just a small way for us to honor her and give to the people she loves so much."

GiftCrazy.net also features the "3-D Magic Spinning Lamp," selling for $19.99 and plans to launch the "World's Smallest Remote-Controlled Car" later this month.

"We're starting small, but we have big ideas," Gehl added. "We plan to introduce new and unique gift items almost every month, focusing on things you can't find anywhere else."

The site is a family affair, with Robert's father, Lee, contributing the photography and Robert's step-mom, Susan Allen Morgan of TransNETMedia, designing the site and animation. Robert's wife, Lisa, is co-owner of the company and handles the books and inventory.

GiftCrazy.net is owned and operated by Gehl Force, Ltd., a licensed corporation in Illinois.
