Versaly Games, Inc., a mobile entertainment company that publishes and distributes interactive games and entertainment-oriented content to subscribers using next-generation mobile phones, today welcomes Mr. James E. Duffy, the former President of the ABC Television Network, and Mr. Evan S. Collins, the Chief Financial Officer of McAfee.com, to its Advisory Board.
Jim Duffy is recognized as one of the most innovative and accomplished executives in the worlds of broadcasting and entertainment. Mr. Duffy served an unprecedented 15 years as President of the ABC Television Network. During his tenure with ABC-TV, he was instrumental in making the network number one in program ratings, national sales (from $245 million in 1963 to over $3 billion in l984) and increasing the number and quality of affiliated stations. He also issued in new concepts in programming for children, in public service projects, in different forms of audience measurements, and in new procedures in sales and affiliate relations. Mr. Duffy has received innumerable honors including President Reagan's Action Volunteer Award, The Gabriel Award for Individual Achievement and the American Legion Distinguished Service Award. He was recognized with the broadcast industry's highest honor, the National Association of Broadcaster's Distinguished Service Award, in 1989, and the National Literacy Coalition's Lifetime Achievement Award in 1996. Mr. Duffy will assist Versaly with its television and entertainment initiatives.
Evan Collins is currently the Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of McAfee.com, the world's leading security Application Service Provider (ASP). By hosting Web-based applications for PC users, McAfee.com is changing how software is developed, delivered and experienced by PC users at home and at work. Prior to joining McAfee.com as CFO in July 1999, Mr. Collins was Corporate Controller for Network Associates. Before Network Associates, Mr. Collins held various financial positions at Sun Microsystems, a manufacturer of open systems software and hardware from August 1989 to September 1996. Mr. Collins will assist Versaly with its financial and data security strategies.
