On October 26, 2001, the government announced the selection of the Lockheed Martin-Northrop Grumman-BAE SYSTEMS Team to develop the Joint Strike Fighter.
Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems will be developing the airborne radar. TriQuint Semiconductor Texas and Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems of Lithicum, Maryland have a long and mutually successful relationship in development of advanced radars. We are excited to be a part of this state-of-the-art JSF program."
TriQuint has been providing Gallium Arsenide Microcircuit manufacturing capabilities and engineering support to Northrop Grumman on the F-22 program for many years.
