Alumni and friends of the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and London Business School, as well as students and alumni from other top U.S. and European business schools are invited to participate in a very timely panel discussion about how the downturn in the economy has impacted current recruiting practices.
The panel discussion, "A Corporate Perspective: Recruiting in the Post New Economy" features recruiting experts from diverse industries including biotechnology, financial services, Internet, technology, and venture capital. Panelists will address short and long term perspective on recruiting and retention, and share their insights and suggestions for job seekers on how best to work with recruiting professionals and how to persevere through current economic times. Professor Jenny Chatman, Harold Furst Professor of Management, Philosophy and Values, Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley and currently visiting at Harvard Business School, will moderate the panel discussion.
The discussion will take place on Tuesday, December 4th, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Harvard Club in Boston (1 Federal Street). The panel discussion is open to alumni and friends of various business schools in Boston at a cost of $30 per person.
