New My Lycos
Terra Lycos is now the only portal with a personal start page offering an information ticker to its users, providing personalized news around the clock. No other portal offers the depth of personalization that Terra Lycos offers. The new My Lycos (http://my.lycos.com/) features extensive customization features, including four different page styles, "adaptable" components and an intuitive drag and drop interface, delivering more content above the fold than most other personalization products on the Internet. My Lycos gives users the freedom to customize pages their way, fulfilling the promise of true personalization.
Key features of the new My Lycos include the information ticker similar to television news headline tickers. The ticker is integrated with news headlines, advertisements, promotions and interactive polls, as it scrolls along the bottom of the page. Through My Lycos's unique profiling capabilities, the ticker serves content based on a user's unique, personal interests. Other new features include "shortcuts," or quick links, giving My Lycos users easy access to their favorite Terra Lycos Network properties.
