LScan Technologies Names Pharmaceutical Executive to Its Board of Directors and Appoints Former Cambridge Technology Partners Associate to CTO Position

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 5, 2001
LScan Technologies, Inc, a leading provider of mobile and wireless applications using bar code scanners for the pharmaceutical industry announced today that Jack Gale Duncan, the former President of Stuart Disease Management Services, has joined its Board of Directors.
In addition to the board position, Mr. Duncan will take an active role assisting the company in short and long term strategic development. Mr. Duncan brings to LScan more than 25 years of Pharmaceutical Industry experience.
He has held numerous senior and executive level positions including Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Zeneca Pharmaceutical and President of Stuart Disease Management, a division of Zeneca Pharmaceutical.

Daphne Bogert also joined LScan as Chief Technology Officer. Most recently Ms. Bogert was Chief Technology Officer of SportBuyer.com, where she led the technology department in an innovative business-to-business startup.
Prior to SportBuyer.com, Daphne was a Director with Cambridge Technology Partners' eBusiness practice where she focused on CRM, SFA and eCommerce solutions for such clients as Johnson & Johnson, Warner Lambert, FirstUSA, Office.com and ADP. Daphne will be responsible for insuring the technical development of LScan's products and services.
