BenefitAmerica, a leading provider of Web-centric employee benefit enrollment and administration solutions, today announced that the State University of New York at Buffalo is honoring BenefitAmerica CEO Howard Koenig for his distinguished leadership and achievements within the e-commerce industry.
The University at Buffalo honors its alumni for displaying exceptional leadership. Koenig was selected this year for his accomplishments as CEO of BenefitAmerica. With Koenig's leadership, BenefitAmerica, formerly EmployeeLife, has become a leader in Internet-based benefit administration solutions. Howard's achievements resulted in the acquisition of BenefitAmerica by UnumProvident in March of 2001.
Koenig received both his BA in economics and his MBA from the University at Buffalo. He is an industry expert and accomplished speaker in technology relative to business-to-business e-commerce, employee benefits administration, and customer relationship management. He also has extensive experience in Internet strategy, business process engineering and operational efficiency.
