MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 17, 2001

CosmoCom, the leading provider of IP-based contact center infrastructure to service providers, has been recognized with Deloitte & Touche's prestigious "Rising Star" award as part of the Long Island region's "Fast 50" Program.

The Rising Star award is given to technology companies that have been in business for less than five years and whose revenues far outpace others in the industry. These companies are not yet eligible for the Fast 50 ranking. The award is based on percentage revenue growth over three years (1998-2000).

CosmoCom's CEO Ari Sonesh credits market innovation and employee devotion with the company's tremendous revenue growth over the past five years. "There is a reason CosmoCom is a leader in the all-IP contact center business," states Sonesh. "Our employees believe in the products we make and the passion they have to make those products the best in the industry."

"Through the Rising Star program, Deloitte & Touche has been honoring those companies in the Long Island technology industry that have shown improved revenue growth over three years," said Adam Weisman, Long Island Office Managing Partner. "As competition remains tough, CosmoCom has proven the ability to sustain its business, and we are happy to support their efforts by recognizing their achievements and continued growth."
