REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 22, 2001
Enterprise Portal Customers Can Build Thousands of Portlets From
Enterprise Information In "A Fraction Of The Time" Needed with
Ordinary Programming Tools
OnePage, Inc. today announced that it has joined BEA in its Portal Star Solution Program, a partner initiative from BEA Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:BEAS). OnePage is a leading provider of technology and applications for building and managing the information components -- portlets -- of corporate, consumer and wireless portals.
BEA customers using the OnePage Content Connect Studio can rapidly create interactive portlets of rich business information from HTML Pages, databases, datafeeds, applications, web services, and flat files and then deploy them on the BEA WebLogic Portal 4.0.
"The value of an enterprise portal lies with the quality and quantity of available portlets," said Michael Marubio, COO of OnePage. "The BEA user community is now able to create portlets from their enterprise data in minutes using OnePage technology, producing thousands of personalized portlets in a fraction of the time and effort previously needed."
OnePage Content Connect Studio combines revolutionary technology with a highly intuitive user-interface that enables companies to eliminate the manual scraping and scripting processes that currently slow down and add to the expense of any portal implementation.
It is also the first comprehensive portlet software solution to include management and monitoring tools, as well as intelligent agents that create alerts and trigger actions, such as error recovery.
