Netherland's Largest Assistance Company Uses Siebel
eInsurance to Profitably Serve Existing Customers and
Enhance Customer Relationships
Siebel Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:SEBL), the world's leading provider of eBusiness applications software, today announced that SOS International, the largest assistance company in The Netherlands, has standardized on Siebel eBusiness Applications. The company is using Siebel eInsurance, a version of Siebel eBusiness Applications tailored to meet the specific needs of the insurance industry, to manage, synchronize, and coordinate all customer touchpoints. Siebel eInsurance enables SOS International to profitably serve existing customers and enhance customer relationships.
To provide first-class customer service, introduce new products and services, and sustain its position as the Dutch leader in assistance, SOS International needed a highly scalable, proven eBusiness solution. The company selected Siebel eInsurance to create a single, comprehensive view of the customer and significantly enhance the company's ability to service millions of policyholders through their preferred channel including the Internet, telephone, fax, or post.
Using the industry-tailored functionality of Siebel eInsurance, SOS International's 200 customer service professionals will be able to track customer service requests, leverage prior customer-focused solutions, and provide resolutions quickly and effectively on a 24x7 basis in a state-of-the-art contact center. They will be able to capture all relevant data and activities associated with a claim and link this to the customer's policy information; track the status of all documentation associated with a particular claim and initiate the ordering of underwriting documentation; and efficiently route inquiries to the most appropriate service professional. This strategy will enable the company to provide high-quality emergency assistance anywhere in the world, for incidents such as car accidents, health problems, and theft.
"By consolidating information from our disparate back office systems and delivering a single, company-wide view of the customer, Siebel eInsurance allows SOS International to deliver unparalleled customer service," says Wim Reinders, Chief Financial Officer, SOS International. "When a customer calls us, he or she often has a serious problem, sometimes involving casualties that must be addressed immediately and effectively. With Siebel eInsurance, our customer service professionals have the information and tools they need to provide a rapid, professional response and achieve outstanding customer satisfaction levels."
