ALTADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 3, 2001
Oak Grove Systems announces that Oak Grove Reactor 5 open standards process engine bridges the process integration gap between J2EE applications and Microsoft (Nasdaq:MSFT) .NET applications. Applications built on either J2EE or Microsoft .NET can now trigger a Reactor 5 business process and can participate in business processes managed by Reactor 5 via the SOAP Web Services protocol.
"Reactor 5 is and will remain a J2EE-based application. However, with the advent of Web Services, any developer building enterprise applications will now be able to have the process layer managed by or integrated with Reactor 5, regardless of their platform," says Chuck Ames, President and Chief Executive Officer of Oak Grove Systems.
Oak Grove Reactor 5 is the most broadly compatible, J2EE-based, XML-driven, open standards process engine for web-enabled workflow applications. As Java developers create enterprise applications they use Reactor 5 to build process layers, reducing development costs, accelerating time-to-market, increasing ROI on technology investments, and providing flexibility for future application enhancements and changes.
