The Multiservice Switching Forum (MSF) today announced that switching technology pioneer Dr. Kazou Imai of NTT DoCoMo will be the keynote speaker at the Forum's next Technical Committee meeting in Osaka, Japan. At the November 6 - 8 meeting, Dr. Imai will address the forum on "Next Generation Mobile Networking and Services Beyond 3G."

Kazuo Imai is vice president and general manager of Network Laboratories at NTT DoCoMo, Inc. He has over twenty years of experience in research and development of communications technology at NTT in various topic areas including data switching systems design, ISDN interface definition, Broadband ISDN access network technology and network middleware platforms. Imai served as vice president of NTT America from 1994 to 1998, leading technology transfer and network services development in the U.S.A. for NTT' s global businesses.
