Hilton Garden Inn Opens First Pittsburgh Area Hotel

Hilton Hotels Corporation announced today the opening of the 175-room Hilton Garden Inn(R) Pittsburgh/Southpointe, in Canonsburg, Pa., representing the brand's fifth Pennsylvania location and another addition to the brand's growing collection of more than 115 Hilton Garden Inn hotels across North America.

Southpointe Hotel and Conference Center, L.P., owns the newly constructed Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh/Southpointe, under a license agreement with Hilton Inns, Inc., the franchising subsidiary of Beverly Hills-based Hilton Hotels Corporation. Gateway Hospitality Group manages the hotel.

A mid-rise, four-story structure, the Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh/Southpointe features: a signature glass-walled pavilion housing the reception desk; a Pavilion Pantry(R) with a selection of refrigerated, frozen and microwaveable packaged items, and sundries; the Great American Grill(R) restaurant, offering freshly prepared breakfast and lunch; room service provided by Jacksons Restaurant-Rotisserie & Bar -- a signature restaurant adjacent to the hotel; a 24-hour, complimentary business center; a comfortable lounge area with a television and fireplace; and an on-site laundry facility.
