James J. McBride named senior business development manager at Turner Investment Partners

BERWYN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 4, 2001
James J. McBride has been named senior business development manager at Turner Investment Partners, Inc., an investment-management firm that invests more than $8 billion on behalf of institutions and individuals.
In this position, Mr. McBride, 32, is responsible for developing new business in institutional investment services with consultants and prospective clients in Turner's 18-state Southeast and Midwest regions. Turner offers 11 primary institutional stock and bond portfolios.
Mr. McBride is based at the Berwyn, Pennsylvania, headquarters of Turner, which is employee-owned. He reports to Glenn A. Dever, director of institutional client service and business development. Mr. McBride previously served as vice president, institutional marketing and client service, at Penn Capital Management. Before that he was a consultant at Capital Resource Advisors.
He succeeds Todd A. Bitzer, who joined Systematic Financial Management.
He earned a bachelor of science degree in finance at La Salle University in 1991. He lives in Moorestown, New Jersey.
