Where2Net, Inc., a software provider of multi-channel development tools and applications, today announced that it has joined the Macromedia Alliance Partner program of Macromedia Corporation (Nasdaq:MACR). As a Macromedia technology partner, Where2Net will integrate its daVinci Studio development tool with Macromedia products, including ColdFusion and JRun servers and studios.

Where2Net daVinci Studio is a rapid application development (RAD) environment for building mobile content and applications. Using daVinci Studio, developers can easily create dynamic applications that are automatically deployed across various platforms including PCs, wireless phones, PDAs, touch screen terminals, and speech-recognized phones. Enterprises with J2EE and ColdFusion investments can extend applications to mobile devices without setting up duplicate systems for mobile access.
