PointMedia Corp., a company gearing up to provide news, entertainment, online purchasing and point-of-purchase promotional incentives to consumers at gas pumps, and ScreamingMedia Inc. (NASDAQ:SCRM), a leading global provider of content and technology solutions, today announced an agreement in which ScreamingMedia will supply various content for PointMedia's PointTV(TM) network.

Initially, selected information including jokes of the day, horoscopes and local weather reports will be available to petroleum customers who are interacting with PointTV as they fill up their tank. In addition, PointTV will have access to ScreamingMedia's content and technology solutions including its global digital content network consisting of 3,000 publications from which it can aggregate, filter and deliver content - general interest local, national and international news, industry-specific information, niche content and more - based on the exact criteria of its customers.
