Data Communication Channel (DCC) solutions are software solutions that allow next generation optical networking equipment from multiple vendors to communicate. The distributed architecture of OCCS' DCC solution improves PDU forwarding performance and significantly reduces DCC related traffic over the backplane among the units involved in the DCC processing.
