BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 19, 2001

Timeline Inc. (OTCBB:TMLN) and its business unit WorkWise(R), announced today a new OEM partnership with Deltek Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: DLTK).

Deltek is licensing the WorkWise Business Alerts(R) and Data Agent Server (DAS) solutions adding event notifications, application integration and workflow abilities to Deltek GCS Premier(TM) and Deltek Time Collection applications. WorkWise develops software applications that streamline key business activities for greater workplace efficiency, generally referred to as process automation, the key element in workflow technologies.

The Business Alerts solution also automates and synchronizes notification messages pertaining to specific events and business processes. The flagship product, Data Agent Server is an EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) software solution used for integrating disparate software applications, without expensive and time-consuming programming.

With more than 20 years experience and 7,500 customers, Deltek is a leading provider of enterprise software for project-based businesses and professional services firms. Deltek will distribute private label versions of the WorkWise Data Agent Server and Business Alerts solutions to their customers as a new product offering. The private label version named "Deltek Alerts Server", will automatically generate notifications from Deltek GCS Premier and Deltek Time Collection, and provide a `no programming required' method for easily exchanging data between both applications. Deltek Alerts Server is targeted for release later this month.

"The agreement with WorkWise reflects our commitment to continually add innovative, industry leading improvements to our product family. The addition of event-based notifications and application integration will provide immediate and substantial gains in efficiency for our customers, and eliminate the need of expensive programming for developing integration and process automation solutions," Rick Lowrey, VP of Business Development for Deltek.

WorkWise provides productivity tools to improve business communications and business processes. "The partnership with Deltek further strengthens our position as the leading provider of event-based notifications, application integration and process automation systems to the mid-market" stated Mike Arthur, Director of Sales and Marketing for WorkWise Software.
