MORGAN HILL, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 24, 2001

GraphOn(R) Corp. (Nasdaq:GOJO) (http://www.GraphOn.com), developer of infrastructure software that instantly web enables Windows(R), UNIX(R), and Linux(R) applications, is donating its GO-Global(R) UX(R) software to companies affected by the terrorist act of September 11 whose stranded workers are no longer able to connect to their UNIX applications. GraphOn is notifying its own customers in New York and is working with companies, such as Sun Microsystems, to offer its software to displaced companies needing to connect to UNIX applications, including those developed to run on Sun's Solaris operating system.

"GraphOn shares the grief of those affected by the tragedy of September 11, and while we cannot heal the pain with technology, it can make the path back to recovery just a bit smoother," said GraphOn CEO and President, Walt Keller. "We have identified existing customers who have suffered in this crisis and are contacting them to help them get back up and running. We also invite the major UNIX server manufacturers to join in this reconnection effort."

"Sun is very pleased that GraphOn is donating its web enabling software to help in our recovery outreach efforts with technology that works without sophisticated infrastructure," said Kevin Coyne, director of Business Operations at Sun. "As we identify the people and companies whom we can help with Sun's servers and operating system, GraphOn's software gives them a way to use their applications immediately over very simple connections from wherever they are."

GraphOn's GO-Global UX software can be downloaded immediately from the GraphOn web site and activated through a toll-free phone call listed on the site: http://www.graphon.com/nydcreconnect. GraphOn will donate multiple licenses of their software to departments of companies that are victims of the World Trade Center and Pentagon tragedies.
