New York Life Provides $1.5 Million Television Advertising Time to American Red Cross; Company Produces Two Public Service Announcements To Support Relief Efforts

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 25, 2001
New York Life Insurance Company announced today that it has provided $1.5 million in television advertising time to air American Red Cross Public Service Announcements (PSA). New York Life produced two thirty-second PSAs for the American Red Cross to help the organization support its relief efforts for the tragic events of September 11th.
"New York Life is proud to bolster the efforts of the American Red Cross through a substantial financial contribution as well as through in-kind support," said Carolyn Martin Buscarino, senior vice president, New York Life. "We wanted to help the American Red Cross get its message to the many Americans who want to actively participate in the relief effort by providing financial support or donating blood."
Celebrated author and historian David McCullough narrates the public service announcements that are now being aired nationally on twenty-three cable networks.
