Avnet RF & Microwave, the distribution market leader in the sale of components to the wireless electronics industry, has been honored by Murata Electronics N.A. as its distributor of the year.
Takeshi Iishi, president and chief executive officer of Murata Electronics N.A., presented the President's Award for RF Distributor of the Year to Joel Levine, president, and Steve Takaki, vice president/product business unit director, Avnet RF & Microwave, at a ceremony at Avnet's corporate headquarters in Phoenix.
According to Murata's Iishi, this distinguished award is given to the distributor that shows outstanding sales growth, increased market share, and a focus on Murata Electronics' RF product line.
