SeeBeyond Provides CSC With Software Licenses To Deliver

Comprehensive eBI Solution Suite for Deployment of EAI

Backbone For NASA

SeeBeyond (Nasdaq:SBYN), the leading global provider of eBI solutions, today announced that Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) awarded SeeBeyond a seven year subcontract for software licenses and services to help CSC in its integration efforts to support NASA's Integrated Financial Management Program (IFMP).

Launching an initiative to re-engineer and streamline its agency-wide financial applications, NASA established the IFM Program to focus on the design and implementation of an application integration "backbone." The program will facilitate the integration of the IFM modules, including Procurement, Budget Formulation, Time & Attendance, Payroll, HR, Position Classification, Resume Management, Logistics, Travel, Facilities, Environmental, and Aircraft Management.

"NASA's mission to 'expand the realm of human knowledge through a systematic program of exploration and discovery' clearly relies on the robust, scalable and seamless management of information," said Jim Demetriades, founder, chairman and CEO for SeeBeyond. "Assisting CSC to quickly and efficiently deploy NASA's IFMP further validates our own mission of helping leading organizations fundamentally change how the world works."

About NASA

In 1915, when aviation was still in its infancy, Congress created an organization that would "supervise and direct the scientific study of the problems of flight, with a view to their practical solutions." That organization, the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics, evolved into NASA four decades later when Congress formed a civilian agency to lead "the expansion of human knowledge of phenomena in the atmosphere and space."
