Pacific Sunwear of California Inc. (Nasdaq:PSUN), is scheduled to present at the Banc of America Securities Consumer Conference on Tuesday, April 9, at 9:40 a.m. EST.

In conjunction with the conference, the company will release March sales results for the five week period ended April 6, 2002 on Tuesday, April 9 at 7:30 a.m. EST. The conference is being held at the Palace Hotel in New York.

Pacific Sunwear (PacSun) will be represented at the conference by Greg Weaver, chairman and CEO, Tim Harmon, president and CMO and Carl Womack, SR. vice president and chief financial officer.
