Penton Media Inc.'s SQL Server Magazine and Windows & .NET Magazine announced today the finalists for the Microsoft Tech Ed Best of Show Awards conducted by the magazines. Winners will be determined and announced at Microsoft Tech Ed 2002 in New Orleans, La., on April 11.

The SQL Server category finalists are Altova Inc.'s XML Spy 4.3 Suite, BindView Corporation's bv-Control for SQL Server, Compaq Computer Corporation's ProLiant DL760, Heroix Corporation's eQ Management Suite, NetIQ Corporation's SQL Management Suite, Red Gate Software's SQL Compare, ProClarity Corporation's Analytics Platform, Unisys Corporation's Enterprise Server and Vishwak Associates' EasyStruct Enterprise 4.0. The Exchange Server category finalists are BindView Corporation's bv-Control for Exchange Server, Compaq Computer Corporation's Storage Works Virtual Storage Management for Exchange 2000, GFI's Mail Security for Exchange 2000, kCura Corporation's kStore Explorer, Marathon Technologies Corporation's Marathon Exchange Server 3000, NetIQ Corporation's Exchange Migrator and AppAnalyzer and Trend Micro's Scan Mail for Microsoft Exchange 2000.
