Premio Computer Inc. has announced the new Premio(R) Minos Desktop and Minos Midtower micro ATX chassis designed to accommodate standard micro ATX form factor motherboards.
Both systems offer the latest in DDR enabled Pentium(R) 4 capabilities and powerful Intel processor performance with outstanding functional capabilities.
The initial motherboards provided in the new cases give users the opportunity to take advantage of the latest technologies in processor, memory, and chipset architecture, including speeds of 2.2GHz and higher. The Minos Desktop configuration measures 5.5-inch H x 13.5-inch W x 17.5-inch D, allowing for easy placement in the office, home, or classroom. The Minos Midtower micro system measures 14.0-inch H x 7.0-inch W x 16.0-inch D, offering a relatively compact tower system typically for academic institutions, businesses, and government agencies.
Both systems provide two 5.25-inch external drive bays to accommodate optical drives such as CD, DVD, or CDRW, one external 3.5-inch drive bay for floppy disk or zip drive, and two internal 3.5-inch drive bays for IDE hard drives. Other features include two front USB ports and front jacks for microphone and headset. Integrated features include onboard AC97 audio and 10/100Mbps LAN for quick connections to existing networks, and joystick/MIDI port (depending on model.)
