ROCKVILLE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 10, 2002
ADP Integrated Medical Solutions (IMS), the industry leader in providing end-to-end claims processing solutions to property and casualty insurers, announced today that they are launching a new integrated bill review product, Censeo, to serve both the auto casualty and workers' compensation markets.
Censeo, (sen seo (Latin); estimate, evaluate, advise), utilizes the latest technology to effectively audit medical injury claims. The single platform for processing both workers' compensation and auto casualty medical bills can be deployed directly at the client-site, through the Web on an ASP basis, or utilized as part of ADP's outsourcing services.
Censeo will be officially launched at the 40th annual RIMS (Risk Insurance Management Society) Conference and Exhibition on April 15, 2002 in New Orleans, LA. Thousands of risk management and insurance professionals will be introduced to ADP's product offering at this event.
Censeo has several features that make it the leading bill review product in the industry. In addition to its single platform technology, Censeo incorporates modern, standards-based, compliant architecture, as well as web delivery options.
Censeo also offers multiple UCR options, comprehensive medical guidelines, including complete programming of all auto casualty and workers' compensation fee schedules and state UR regulations, proprietary clinical edits based on widely accepted medical literature, and a feature that allows Censeo users to create client-specific rules and edits.
Censeo also offers sophisticated PPO repricing capabilities, which can be delivered as part of the platform or as a stand-alone product. Censeo was developed with HIPAA compliant EDI interfaces.
"Our new Censeo platform is a core component of our future vision for the auto casualty and workers' compensation industries," said Brendan Malley, Senior Vice President & General Manager, ADP IMS. "We are excited about our entrance into the workers' compensation marketplace. Our goal is to revolutionize the end-to-end processing of claims for the workers' compensation industry."
Censeo, currently in production with several key clients, is an integral component of ADP IMS' end-to-end claims processing solution. In addition to developing state-of the-art software, ADP IMS provides pre-processing services, claim review as well as post-processing services.
Pre-processing services include mailroom services, scanning, and data capture, such as OCR (optical character recognition) and KFI (key from image). Claim review services include application of rules, UCR and state fees, PPO contracted fees and medical review.
ADP IMS also offers several post-processing services, including claim management/state reporting, EOR and check printing, web and email delivery options and electronic funds transfer to providers.
ADP IMS is a part of the worldwide Automatic Data Processing (ADP) family of companies. Automatic Data Processing (NYSE:ADP), with over $6 billion dollars in revenues and 500,000 clients, is one of the largest independent computing services firms in the world.
