Teradyne, Inc. (NYSE: TER) announced that it will unveil a new suite of High Performance Engineering and Operational Services Packages at SEMICON Europa (Booth A1.413), April 16 to April 18, 2002 in Europe. These packages bring the right expertise directly to Teradyne customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through a variety of options -- over the web, via the telephone, through Internet connectivity, and on-site. The High-Performance Packages prepare customers for increased levels of business by providing more flexible access to expertise, more rapid response, faster application and hardware solutions and improved uptime -- all offered with superior price performance.
High-Performance Engineering Packages
The new High-Performance Engineering Packages provide flexible applications support options that meet a broad set of customer needs that enable Teradyne customers to achieve optimum time to device revenue and maximum throughput from their tester investment. These value-added engineering packages offer significant benefits from the design phase through volume production, delivering consistent solutions and in-depth applications support. High-Performance Operational Packages
The new High-Performance Operational Packages, available the second half of this year, enable a heightened state of operational readiness for customers who are anticipating an upcoming ramp in business where uptime and availability are extremely important. The packages pull together the right mix of Parts Availability Services and 24x7 Expertise-based services to address customer needs ranging from intensive on-site support and rapid parts delivery to self-help and basic parts services. Support is delivered over the telephone, through eConnectNET, and through on-site visits. -- eConnectNET, the industry's most secure Internet-based connectivity solution, accelerates Teradyne's capability to support a remote Teradyne tester. Teradyne engineers and customers can now engage in a remote session and work collaboratively to develop solutions.
