Ogilvy & Mather, a worldwide marketing communications company, has signed an agreement with The Knowledge Refinery to implement Convera's RetrievalWare(R) (Nasdaq:CNVR) search and retrieval solution across its internal knowledge management system. Ogilvy & Mather is working with The Knowledge Refinery, a company focused on developing and managing knowledge management and collaboration initiatives, to better exploit its `best practice' information, which is shared across 103 countries and 10,000 employees.
By integrating RetrievalWare's cross-lingual and multimedia tools within a tailored intranet solution, The Knowledge Refinery will enable Ogilvy & Mather's employees to search quickly and accurately across a wealth of internal information. RetrievalWare's intelligent semantic networks and Adaptive Pattern Recognition Process (APRP) technology will allow Ogilvy & Mather to search using industry-specific terminology and to use its advanced relevancy ranking tools to present the results.
