CommVault(R) Systems, Inc, a leading provider of enterprise data management solutions, has completed a worldwide agreement with Compaq Computer Corporation (NYSE: CPQ) wherein Compaq will offer CommVault Galaxy data management and protection software to customers through its direct and indirect sales

channels.

Compaq will offer four pre-configured suites that provide a high performance, application-centric data and storage management solution for Direct Attach and Storage Area Network (SAN) configurations. The SANworks Data Protection Suites for Backup and Restore by Compaq will allow customers to benefit from the technical strength and unified approach of Galaxy coupled with Compaq's extensive certification, sales and support infrastructure.

Industry-leading enterprise customers, like Amtrak and Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC), have already benefited from the strategic partnership between CommVault Systems and Compaq.
