Worcester Telegram & Gazette Selects

Engage's Newspaper Industry Solution

to Streamline End-to-End Ad Management

Engage, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENGA), a leading provider of software solutions and services for advertisers, marketers and publishers, today announced that The New York Times Company's Worcester Telegram & Gazette has selected and completed the initial phase of its implementation of the Engage Newspaper Industry Solution. Engage's agreement and subsequent installation with Worcester Telegram & Gazette follows the successful deployment of a similar Engage solution at sister newspaper The Boston Globe to enable end-to-end advertising production management, automate ad workflow, and facilitate online approvals.

"Since completing the first phase of the Engage ContentServer installation, the solution has allowed us to achieve much greater control over and visibility into the ad production process," said Kurt Parent, Director of Operations, Worcester Telegram & Gazette. "We look forward to completing phases two and three which will help us offer our advertisers a new range of services, including the introduction of on-line proofing, promising over time to reduce the number of proof cycles and the associated costs."

The Engage Newspaper Industry Solution consists of four software modules that enable newspapers to track, manage and automate the entire advertising process from reception of digital artwork through production to page archive. The solution offers publishers robust advertising management functions, such as comprehensive reporting, digital ad workflow, asset management and online approvals, in addition to reducing overhead costs, extending deadlines and eliminating costly errors.

"We are delighted to have the Worcester Telegram & Gazette join our expanding newspaper client roster," said Christopher Cuddy, president and CEO, Engage. "We continue to respond to market needs and are pleased to offer publishers a software solution designed to reduce operating costs and increase efficiencies during this challenging economic period."

The Engage Newspaper Industry Solution boosts productivity by integrating with other pre-press publishing software and services, such as Adobe(R) Acrobat, Adobe(R) Distiller Server, Adobe(R) InDesign(TM), Adobe(R) Photoshop(TM), AP AdSEND, Multi-Ad Creator(R), and QuarkXPress(TM).
