SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 23, 2002

Network Commerce Inc., (OTCBB:NWKC) which develops tools and online services for the advancement of Internet domain registration, hosting and electronic commerce, announces that its domain registration services continued to gain momentum the previous two quarters.

Domain registrations were up 300% from October 2001 to March 2002, from 14,000 domains to more than 50,000 domains.

Network Commerce provides domain registrations at two locations, eHost (www.ehost.com) and Dirt-Cheap-Domain (www.dirtcheapdomain.com).

"With the opening of several new domain-name extensions in the past year (.biz, .info, .ws, .tv, and .cc), and the impending arrival of `.US' later this month, a universe of new naming opportunities has appeared," says Dwayne Walker, chairman and chief executive officer.

"If you missed the dot-com or dot-net naming opportunities, it's worth exploring these new avenues, including the exclusively American dot-US category," Walker continued. "We believe there is still room to grow in this market, because millions of small to mid-sized companies have yet to establish their businesses online. We are positioned to capitalize on this growth opportunity by offering all the tools necessary to get started, including domain registration, hosting and commerce services."
