News Conference to Announce ISO New England's Summer Electricity Forecast

ISO New England Inc., the operator of the region's bulk electric power system, will release its summer 2002 electricity supply forecast for New England today, April 29, at a news conference in Boston, Massachusetts.
ISO New England will address:
-- The adequacy of New England's electricity supply for the summer of 2002
-- The potential impact of wholesale market conditions, transmission constraints and weather variables on the region's capacity
-- Actions taken by ISO New England to balance supply and demand during peak power use periods, including temporary conservation measures
