Exelixis Announces First Quarter 2002 Financial Results Conference Call and Webcast

Exelixis, Inc. (Nasdaq: EXEL) today announced that its financial results for the first quarter 2002 will be issued in a press release after the close of the U.S. financial markets on Monday, May 6, 2002 at 4:00 pm EST. Exelixis will host a conference call one hour after the release at 5:00 pm EST to discuss these results. The call will be led by George A. Scangos, Ph.D., president and chief executive officer and Glen Y. Sato, chief financial officer and vice president of legal affairs.
