Kronos Appoints Industry Veterans to Drive HRMS Strategy

CHELMSFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 3, 2002

Kronos(R) Incorporated (Nasdaq: KRON), the leading provider of frontline labor management solutions, today announced it has hired William Larkin as vice president of HR/Payroll products and Jeff Meyer as vice president of HR/Payroll engineering. Both Larkin and Meyer possess a unique combination of industry, technical and consulting experience, which will enable them to lead Kronos' strategic direction as the company expands its footprint by entering the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) market.

Larkin brings to Kronos extensive consulting, sales, product development and marketing skills honed during a 20-year career in human resources, in which he held positions with Automatic Data Processing (ADP) and Genesys Software Systems. Prior to joining Kronos, Larkin founded LCS and Associates, a consulting firm specializing in HRMS end-user requirements definition and vendor selection. Larkin has also helped a number of software vendors develop and expand their HRMS strategy.

Meyer's broad expertise in software development spans 25 years and includes various engineering management, software development and quality assurance positions. Most recently, Meyer served as vice president of engineering at FairMarket, Inc., a provider of hosted online commerce applications and services. Previously, he held engineering management positions with Compaq Computer Corporation and Digital Equipment Corporation.
