As part of a panel of industry experts assembled for InfoWorld's third annual CTO Forum, Imad Mouline, chief technology officer for S1 Corporation, will examine the use of Web Services to improve customer interaction, from offering additional value through integration of applications to gaining a deeper understanding of consumer needs and wants. Mouline will share his perspective on how companies and their partners can collaborate using component-based services and customized software solutions to suit their business needs, and leverage his technological expertise to answer questions regarding implementation, challenges using Web services and the business practices to overcome those hurdles.
Michael Vizard, editor-in-chief of InfoWorld Media Group, will lead the panel of technology luminaries into a thorough discussion of the evolution of Web- and Internet-enabled software services, and determine the impact on installed-based software packages and fixed business processes.
Mouline is responsible for working with the development and product management teams to drive the technology direction and execution of S1's integrated delivery channel management strategy and global applications. Prior to joining S1, Mouline served as director of technology at BroadVision, where he coordinated the technology strategy across the company's engineering groups, helped shape the direction and architecture of its future products and explored new technologies for multi-channel delivery. Prior to BroadVision, he spent seven years at Interleaf, Inc. where he held the position of director of engineering, in charge of cross-product architecture. He also was the principal architect of Interleaf's XML-based Enterprise Content Management flagship product and served as principal consultant in Professional Services.
