Asera, Inc. today announced that Vinod Khosla, co-founder and chairman of the board at Asera, will deliver a keynote address at the InfoWorld CTO Forum 2002. The event will be held at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco April 8-10, 2002.
Khosla will be delivering his keynote address on Tuesday, April 9 at 9:00 a.m. to 250 of the country's leading CTOs attending the InfoWorld CTO Forum. Khosla's address will discuss real-time enterprises and the continuous migration approach for today's enterprises.
Additionally, Asera announced a new white paper report entitled "Real Time Enterprises -- A Continuous Migration Approach," written by Khosla and Murugan Pal, founding engineer at Asera.
Vinod Khosla was a co-founder of Daisy Systems and founding chief executive officer of Sun Microsystems where he pioneered open systems and commercial RISC processors. Khosla has been a general partner of venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers since 1986.
Khosla serves on the boards of Asera, Centrata, Juniper Networks, Nanotectonica, Redback, QWEST Communications, Zambeel, Zaplet and Zepton.
Khosla holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi, a Master's in Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
