BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 1, 2002
InfoTrends Research Group, Inc. today announced two visionary keynotes from Hewlett Packard and Fuji Photo Film USA for its international conference and exhibition, "Digital Imaging '02 - Expanding Markets, Growing Opportunities". This two-day conference will take place on October 17-18, 2002 at the Doubletree Hotel in San Jose, CA. Attendees will include marketing, sales and engineering executives from leading imaging hardware, software, Internet and technology companies, as well as large retailers, distributors, investors and consultants. Sessions will include market outlook presentations by InfoTrends analysts.
The conference opens on day one with a keynote by Mary Peery, Senior Vice President of Digital Imaging and Publishing for HP. Ms. Peery will speak to the evolution of digital imaging - specifically how digital information has enabled a transformation in the ways consumers communicate and how imaging is enriching this communication. She will also address where the barriers and vulnerabilities lie, and which companies are best positioned to seize opportunities in this market. Additional breakout sessions on day one focus in on critical business issues pertaining to printing, photofinishing, mobile and wireless imaging.
Day two kicks off with a keynote address by Stanley E. Freimuth, COO of Fuji Photo Film USA, who will examine emerging technologies and solutions that help consumers shoot, store, print and share their images, and new revenue opportunities for manufacturers and retailers. Mr. Freimuth will also discuss the need to educate consumers about the convenience, quality and benefits of digital imaging. Sessions on the final day of the conference delve into topics such as image management, imaging and e-business, CPXe, and more.
"InfoTrends is pleased to have two strong companies keynoting this event," says Kristy Holch, group director of InfoTrends Research Group. "In fact, this conference features over 30 prominent players presenting insights that we hope will lead to further market growth. We've put together a robust agenda detailing possible solutions to the most pressing issues of the day. Additionally, we'll be offering interactive roundtable discussions focused on topics which the audience will choose. Our goal is for attendees to walk away with an action plan that can be used to move the industry forward in 2003."
