Strong Workflow Functionality of I-many Technology the Key Behind
Media Leader's Decision to Upgrade I-many Solution
I-many, Inc. (NASDAQ: IMNY), the leader in enterprise contract management and trade management solutions, announced today that Emap plc will upgrade to the Internet version of I-many/Collections and Disputes as part of a financial transformation project throughout the United Kingdom that will include the media giant implementing a new ERP system.
Emap plc is a media company with more than 150 top-selling consumer magazines in the United Kingdom, France and around the world, over 200 business-to-business magazines and conferences, many of them market leaders, as well as 18 radio stations and six rapidly growing music television channels. The company's portfolio contains more than 400 products and brands across the business.
"Emap has been using I-many/Collections and Disputes for the past five years and the system is now used across most of our United Kingdom businesses," said Ian Griffiths, Director of Financial Control at Emap plc. "The decision to upgrade our credit management solution is being taken in the context of a UK-wide review of all aspects of finance covering both how we do things and the systems we use to do them.
"The main factor in deciding to upgrade to the Internet version of I-many/Collections and Disputes was the strength of the core workflow processes," said Griffiths. "The advantage that I-many has is that it is a `fit-for-purpose' credit management application which enables effective cash collection and facilitates improved customer service. We know from our previous experiences with the system that it can significantly improve cash flow which in the current economic climate, has to be one of the key priorities for all corporations."
"Emap plc's decision to upgrade to the Internet version of our solution underscores the importance of best practice workflow processes in accelerating the dispute resolution process and accelerating cash collection," said Jim Stanley, General Manager of I-many's London office. "Emap plc and I-many have had a strong relationship for several years and their adoption of I-many's system during their financial transformation project is a natural progression of our partnership."
